One more!

Love this one! The berries on the top worked out so nicely!
This one is hanging on my mantle at the moment....
but probably not for long!

Traditional Stockings

These stocking really hold the loot! Lots of room inside for treasures, trinkets or coal!

This vintage inspired stocking features a beautiful blue brocade, delicate lace and a pearl broach. I hope this one goes to a good home.

Black and gold! More fabric picked up at the shanghai fabric market, the black and gold bead fringe complements this perfectly.

This simple traditional red and green stocking features a gold ball decoration.
Simple and great for dad.

Another vintage inspired stocking! This one is all about the textures, the large gold silky tassel, the rough yet soft brocade and that crazy edging.

Elf Boots!

This is a really popular shape. Not easy to make, but people really love them!

This one has a little bit of a "Grinchy" feeling to it with the lime green paired with red. That's a "holly-who-wreath" made of bells on he cuff!

Black, white and swirly silver!

Stripes berries and a huge oversized tassel. This one looks great hanging on the mantle and I suspect it won't be on my table for long.

This material is so luxurious! Velvet! Taffeta! Beads! Perfect for Mom.

Four Ladies Boots

I've done up 4 ladies boots this week. Here's what I came up with.....

This silver and black boot features some gorgeous fabric I've been planning to use for a while. Little black buttons and green feathers complete the look.

I love this one! Marabou feathers, rich black velvet and shiny gold brocade. All topped off with a silky black tassel.

Another variation of the boot in black and gold. They look fantastic as a pair.

I actually picked up this blue taffeta at the fabric market in Shanghai. It's since been ripped down, but it was a great place for unusual designs. Now it decorates this sophisticated and sexy ladies boot!

New Stockings!

I've been Busy!  It's that time of the year again when inspiration strikes, (fueled by craft fair deadlines!) The house is in a tip again as I got back to work. Here's a sneak peak of what I've been working on!
This stocking is very simple yet lush. The chocolate brown make this a suitable stocking for a man or people who just love chocolate!

For the cowboy in your life! Details include brass bells, and a bolo tie!

A red and green M&M Christmas!

This earthy "elf boot" has a sophisticated touch to it. The gold grapes remind me of the Okanagan's wine industry.

Christmas Light up in Victoria

I love Christmas light ups. We have started having one every year in Naramata. There is something so comforting about celebrating the season with little coloured lights, warm neighbors and a hot drink in hand.

Here are a few pictures sent to me by my daughter, who's friend seems in love with Butchart's Garden in Victoria. Victoria is a magical place around Christmas. Butchart's goes all out and what a job they do. Enjoy.

The sunken garden.

Colourful trees.

Getting Ready!

The nights are turning a little colder, and bar-B-Q season is almost over, (although admittedly in our house it's never really ever over!)

Soon I'll be back at the sewing machine getting ready for the craft fairs and Christmas markets. Here are a few stockings that you'll be seeing there!
